About the event
Sondre Ek Widén is a Oslobased artist.
I have always enjoyed drawing, ever since I was a child. The playfulness that drawing was to me back then, is still with me today. I work in tandem with my pictures. The work is conceived with the help of my hands, but also from what emerges on the canvas, as a dialogue between myself and the work, as a process. I want to express something physical, stemming from a feeling that what I am laying down in terms of strokes and lines is real. People are usually the focus, and the inspiration is the beauty in every man, woman, and child.
